This family friendly spring festival brings together primitive skills like fire making and edible plants and traditional archery with more modern preparation and homesteading skills like food preservation, sustainable gardening and packing an emergency first aid kit. These are demonstrations as opposed to classes over two days. Food vendors S&S&W will be on site (menu here), and camping is available on campus. Demonstrators include:
Fire Making with the North American Bushcraft School
Gourd Craft with Cindy Seuter
Primitive Traps and Snares with Ex Umbra
Traditional Archery with Jason Beever from JWB Bows
Rifle maintenance and long range shooting with Ex Umbra and Tanner Craig
Beekeekping with Laurae Hughes Cummings from Grey Fox farms
