Classes and Workshops

P2P Festival

All of our classes are held on our pristine old growth forest private property in historic Hedgesville, West Virginia.

All NABS courses are participant driven. The pace of the class is set by the students, not the instructor. We strive to create an informal, comfortable learning atmosphere where all questions are welcome and all comments are appreciated. After all, we are all students and we are all teachers.

For all classes and workshops, free camping, parking and food refrigeration will be offered to all registered
participants the night before their course begins until the night of the last day of their course. Please let us know when you sign up for your
class so we can reserve a campsite for you. Although we do have all modern amenities at the main house, resources and facilities are limited at the school site.  If you prefer B&B style accommodations while you attend, we are happy to direct you to the amazing Cider Mill House just down the road from us. Mention that you are a student to get a special North American Bushcraft School rate!

All classes and workshops are available for closed or private instruction. This means that you or your group are the only participant(s) involved in the activity. If you are interested in an existing course or creating your own specific curriculum, contact us and we’ll put together a class tailored to your individual or specialized needs. We are also able to travel and teach most of our courses away from our main campus.  The extent of what we can teach reaches far beyond what we offer on the website so please call if you have questions and for available dates and prices.
